After 7 months of dad continually saying "dad dad dad dada dada" to me Saturday morning out it came. "Dada!"

sorry mum....I did say "mum mum mum" at 6 oclock on Sunday aint I good !?

And while we are on noses....

Laughed so hard with dad this morning last nights mashed pumpkin came out my nose.

Woke up mum too... and thats hard to do.

Swimmin' with Jack

Last week Mum & Auntie Randy scored a free swimming lesson for me. They pretended that I was actually interested in joining swimming lessons at Ipswich!

Poor mum has been hounded ever since with phone calls from the staff wanting to know when we are joining. Mum assures me that adults can tell little white lies every now and again...



Swimming was great.
The water was warm the chicks were hot and my big cheeks were great for holding lots of air when I went under water.

Now when the toys we've piled in the bedroom fall all the parents will run.....

thats when we crawl under this here, then round this here and then its outside for sun on your face, dirt on your knees and all the snails and sticks you can jamb in your mouth till they find us....

My Great Auntie Helen

Dad says my great auntie Helen taught him and his brothers and all his cousins to body surf on their backs which is way cool I reckon. Helen taught them to fish and to tie knots and to think about how to do things with your hands. Helen was his cub leader when he little and a great chat when he got bigger.

Dad says Helen had an awesome infectious laugh that always made him and everyone around her smile and he loved her a lot.

Helen passed away yesterday and will be sadly missed but really fondly remembered.

May all the ancestors that came before look after you now and all the ones that come after carry you close in their hearts and remember you.

I know dad will teach me to body surf on my back just like you when i can swim.

Suddenly I'm thinking of a coup

Dont know why...

possibly its this new found ability to bend people to my will. That and the fact that suddenly my cot has been lowered to stop me going over the wall.

Either way it has me thinking of getting out and planning some sort of blue eyed, puffy cheeked world domination.

If only i could get mum to come with me i'd be way sweet for her yummy lunch treats and a clean bottom. oh and a nice hug at the end of a hard days toy pillaging.

Havent written for nearly a week but I've got a cough, mum has a cough and I really really wish everyone who wants to breath bad germs on me would just far cough too.

the cold is not too bad but juz hangin around like the smell from one of my full nappies.

Nice one boys, dad woke me up a couple of times yelling at the telly. I think also he needs to wash his face cause he said he got stink eye from a Kiwi when he went to the shops on Sunday cause he sniggered at them hehehe nice one dad watch out for mum doing the orange squeezer with the face washer on your face like she does to me.

Is that funny dance the other team did before the game suppose to help them.
I think maybe they should just remember to catch the footy.
